How the world sees me?

Thirty years ago this month I was dragged kickin' 'n' screamin' to the Sunderland Boilermakers Club, a venu then famous for it's rock 'n' roll events. On this particular occasion it was American Rock-a-billy ledgend Ray Campi who was playing. My two cousins Trevor and Paul Cajiao (both avid Elvis/R&R fans) saw fit to subject me to this outrage and in the capacity of 'official photographer' as the lads had permission from the band to record the gig. Please bear in mind that in those days Ray Campi recordings did not feature amongst my collection of Zeppelin, Neil Young, Sabath, Purple and Floyd vynil, in those days I loved the Rock but not so much of the Roll thank you.
As it was with any music, it matters not the style of music as any music played with passion can be enjoyed, which I did. The upshot of it all was that I took about two rolls of film of the gig in Black & White (I had to 'push' the film for some low light shots) and afterwards printed a selection to give to Trevor & Paul.
30 years later saw me sitting scanning the original negatives for Trevor as a 30th anniversary feature in his world popular Now Dig This magazine. Yesterday an envelope dropped through my door from Trevor containing the mag with my pictures, addressed as shown above. I must confess that I almost pooed myself laughing at that one.
